GVSA Quiz Night: Terms and conditions

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Event details

The event is a quiz night organised by Golden Valley School Association (Charity No. 1020928) on 30 January 2026. Doors open at 6:30pm and the quiz starts at 7:00pm.

2. Tickets and entry

• Tickets must be purchased in advance.

• Tickets cost £5 per person.

• An optional cheeseboard may be purchased at £5 per person.

• Teams are limited to a maximum of six players.

• This is an adults-only event. Entry may be refused if this condition is not met.

3. Refunds and cancellation

• Tickets are non-refundable, except where the event is cancelled by the organisers.

• If the event is cancelled, a full refund will be issued for tickets and any optional extras purchased.

• In exceptional circumstances, refunds may be offered at the discretion of Golden Valley School Association, but there is no automatic entitlement to a refund.

4. Food and dietary information

• Cheeseboards are provided on a best-efforts basis.

• We do not collect dietary or allergy information and cannot guarantee that food will be suitable for any specific dietary requirement or allergy.

• By purchasing a cheeseboard, you accept this risk.

5. Bar and alcohol

• Alcohol will be sold at the event by Golden Valley School Association.

• No alcohol may be brought onto the premises.

• We reserve the right to refuse service or entry to anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.

6. Behaviour and safety

• Attendees are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully.

• Golden Valley School Association reserves the right to refuse entry or require anyone to leave the event without refund if their behaviour poses a risk to others or the event.

7. Photography and publicity

• Photographs and/or videos may be taken during the event for PTA records, school communications, and promotional purposes (including websites and social media).

• By attending, you consent to such use unless you inform a member of the organising team on the night.

8. Liability

• Attendance is at your own risk.

• Golden Valley School Association will not be liable for loss, damage, or injury except where caused by its negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.

• Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Changes

• Golden Valley School Association reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the event where necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated as soon as reasonably possible.
